It has promise until it turns into another pathetic boy meets girl, loses girl trope if a show. I had to skip forward to get past the cringe parts which are very frequent and long. Even the good parts if the show have a tough time making up for the cringe. When you can predict exactly how the next episode is going to go how much energy do you want to invest into it.

This was a fun and wild ride, well worth seeing in the theater. Some of the story was very predictable and there were lots of tropes for the characters to get through. That being said I watched it with my family and I have plans to watch it again with some friends next week!
