When I initially heard that Robert Patterson was cast as the new Batman, I was very skeptical, however, after watching Tenet by Christopher Nolan I had faith. Eventually, when the teaser trailer dropped I was downright hyped for the movie and couldn’t wait! Fast forward two years later due to covid, the hype slowly built up inside of me. Not even 3 minutes into the film I knew boy the audience was in for a ride. From the cinematography to the score, to the phenomenal acting from an all-star cast, it was insane! With the number of killings committed by the antagonist “The Riddler”, one could argue this is a horror film. Although it has a 3-hour run-time, 99.5% of the movie had my full attention. It was just too beautiful. This was more of a detective story mixed with Zodiac and Saw vibes. And the detective just happened to be Batman, the world's best detective.
