An excellent film with a strong moral dilemma at its core and a massive indictment of Corporate America. It's a sophisticated adult screenplay for those with a lot more grey matter than the norm, and it's shot almost like a film noir. Clooney proves yet again he is an actor of real substance as well as style and class. Tilda Swinton is painfully convincing and Tom Wilkinson proves yet again how worthy a character actor he is....a delightful cameo from Sydney Pollock makes this the complete package for the discerning viewer.

Apart from the fact that Cillian Murphy looks about 15 years old, this was actually a nice surprise - a tightly structured old fashioned thriller that truly does keep you on the edge of your seat ( with or without a seatbelt) throughout.

Individually fine performers do their best with a mediocre, though barely credible, script. The idea of Keaton and Gleeson as a couple never convinces us and were it not for delightful performances from Jason Watkins and Lesley Manville this would be a complete waste of two hours.

A truly abysmal film in which Liam Neeson looks too old to do anything and the plot makes no sense even allowing for the gullibility of "Action" Movies. It's always a worry when the writer's credit is shared by three different people....it means they couldn't make the script work.
