The broadcast of second State of Origin was very disappointing on Channel 9 TV with the sound level of the main commentator Ray Warren far lower than the rest of the commentators.
Combined with the other main reason which was the mixing of the cheering and background crowd noise, with the level of sound coming from Ray Warren's microphone drowning out his voice as well.
Viewers wanted to hear the greatest Rugby League caller in history commentate the game in his usual brilliant manner and call the players being tackled or tackling and keep up to date with relevant facts.
Not listen to over loud crowd noise and cheering ruining the enjoyment of the game., and hear the sidekicks talking over his call louder than the caller. their comments should be short and sharp during the call not full match report each time.
The Main commentator is the caller that we want to hear maybe someone should tell the sound engineers as well.
