Strong points of the film: 1) Performance of Kangana Ranaut: I have not seen such an intense, fierce and power-packed by any mainstream bollywood actor over the last decade. She has done full justice to the spirit of Rani Laxmi Bai. 2) Background score is quite good and builds up the tempo. 3) Lyrics and dialogues by Prasoon Joshi are good especially song "Bharat" and "Vijayi Bhawa". 4) True story to celebrate an inspiring female freedom fighter that everyone must watch. Weak points: 1) A few historical inaccuracies (few but tolerable) 2) Comical and obsolete depiction of English soldiers. 3) Not enough depiction of atrocities by the English soldiers, to highlight the importance of fight of Rani Laxmi Bai. Verdict: Is really worth watching on big screen !!!
