They really did a good job releasing it in multiple languages. If it was released only in Kannada, I can certainly say that the majority of audience wouldn't get satisfied as they expect something like kgf giving goosebumps moments once in a while. This is definitely not for those who expect mass action sequences with chills. ASN is purely a joy ride from the beginning till the end. Not even a single dull moment. The narration takes it's time as it should with this kind of movie, placing some brilliant clues here and there and coming to genre, it's a period, western comedy,mystery, mythological, suspense drama. Haha, yes it can't be categorized into a single genre, the genre keeps shifting flawlessly as the story moves forward. If u observe carefully, they have not only applied the three act story structure to the entire film but also to some scenes which I noticed, it was brilliant. Some twists were predictable but it never intended to be a thriller in the first place. The character arc of the protagonist (Narayana - referred to the mythological character Narayana) completes a circle when he transforms from Narayana to Srimannarayana in the end, even though the ending seemed to be in a hurry, maybe because of the runtime issue(I think it was more lengthy than it is now), but it never feels like it's a 3 hours 6 min film. The best parts are witty humour and those quirky dialogues. And even the songs are included as part of the story. To summarize, it's a pure entertainer. HANDS UP :)
