Misleading garbage! As everyone else has said, not a proper telling of the classic HG Wells story as we were led to believe by the PR and trailers. Can TV writers stop screwing with classic novels please, there is no need to "improve" them. If you want to do something different write your own stuff and stop leeching of the fame of your betters. Some years back ITV did the Sherlock Holmes novels (the Jeremy Brett ones) and showed how it can and should be done.
