I really enjoyed reading this book, it was very fun and intriguing. I can feel the next installments are going to be very good. The universe and the different characters are well built and have a nice plot. I truly enjoyed the bloodwitch and the cleaving. Hopefully, more will be revealed. A Must Read!

Talk about an unexpected ending. I have to confess, the book is very predictable: girl boss that needs no man, a man comes and she falls in love with him. But I don't know how to explain it, it has something nice to it. The ending was utterly beautiful, I truly loved being taken by surprise and now I can't wait for book 2.

What started as a creepy psychological thriller soon faded into boredom. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved this book but the pacing was either very slow or very fast. Nonetheless, this blood freezing novel is sure to leave you shaking and wanting to know what is happening. The end was the best part. A Must Read!

4.5 Stars. This enchanting novel is one of a kind. A universe of dark magic, star crossed lovers and deamons. Truly original and captivating. with two distinct timelines, this story takes historical to a whole other meaning. Even though the story is a lot darker than what I had anticipated, I was positively shocked. A Must Read!

3.5 stars. I am a bit confused with this book, I loved the concept and the main character, I loved her hunger for power but I hate the way it was rushed. There are a lot of wasted potential. Overall, It was a smooth reading, the concept of memories and power is original but there is no depth to it. A good Read!

This is a total redemption from the first installment. In this sequel, Bardugo went full force, the characters development, the plot and the many many twists are so beautiful. The introduction of other Grishas and finally letting Nina's power come to light. It was shiver Inducing. I totally loved it. A Must Read!

After reading the Shadow and Bone Series, I was excited for this one. Overall, I enjoyed it but again the problem with Leigh's books is that she always neglects the powerful characters. It's like she's afraid of giving actual power to anyone. Nina and Inej were the most powerful but the focus was elsewhere. A Good Read!

I was so excited for the release since I saw the huge potentials, but ultimately I was disappointed. The concept and the universe are there and well written but the pace of the events just doesn't make sense. Some of the characters arcs did not add up as if 2 people were writing this book. A let down.

6/5 Stars. The best book I have read so far. The world that Maas has created is beyond me, so enthralling and beautiful. Each character, each move, each word is perfectly calculated. The never ending plots and twists kept me on edge the whole time. And finally, I found the POWER I was looking for. A Must Read!

What is it with writers and ruining characters; Ngan had all the elements to write a powerful saga but instead it fell flat and repetitive. What's the point of writing about powerful women when you don't even highlight the most powerful of them all: "Wren". A disappointment, so much unused potentials.
