The show is OK, but I see too many of the same mystery plots as in Bone's and Castle. For instance, the first episode is the same as the first episode of Castle; someone killing from Dylan's/Ricks book. There is an episode where an Amish child who is a musical prodigy is killed, which is identical to a Bones episode. Although the plots are taken directly from Bones and Castle it has a Mentalist feel; probably due to the Actors playing the lead roles. Lastly, I think the show would have played better without the lead character being married. I have nothing against alternate life style's, I just think if the lead male role were single and searching for a potential mate (male or female) would give him more in common with the female role. Maybe both of them admiring the same men, or she being the individual with an alternative lifestyle and both of them admiring the same women.
