It had a more mature feeling to it than the first one did which was a breathe of fresh air. Other reviewers that are paid to tell you how they feel have a lot of problems with Frozen 2, but reading their reviews I can tell they weren't actually watching the movie.
I'd tell you examples, but I don't want to spoil it. There's no "good" and "evil" in this movie. Instead it opts for bringing up moral questions and conflicts that can be metaphors for real life things that happen. The mature themes might be lost on children I'll admit.
It's a dark, fun, and very intelligent Disney film. It doesn't have any earworms like "Let it go", but the music is still very good. The amount of heart, love and thoughtfulness put into it almost pours off the screen. It isn't a shallow tale of happily ever after, it's a show of the human condition and the things that come with it.
