This is a punjabi movie which can be easily understood by non-punjabis even. Stellar performance by the late Prithviraj Kapoor sahib. S. Mohinder's excellent music .... Soulful rendition of shabads by non-punjabi singers Asha Bhosle ji and Manna Dey sahib. Rafi sahib makes us all tearful when he sings "mitr piyaare nu ". Story-line, acting, evergreen music......everything majkes it a worth-watch movie
