This lacks the group cohesion that made the first Losers Club so good you rooted for them. I only jumped once and am a “jumper” in scary movies in general. The special effects were laughable in this instalment. I do not know if the director wanted them funny. Penny wise had pretty good special effects tho. This movie does not follow the book which I had read. The plot takes a really weird turn and got down right silly. The cast and acting were top notch. I found McAvoy and Chastain just were not given enough to do. This movie floundered for me.
