Not as good as either "Duck Soup" or even "Diplomaniacs" and "Techno-crazy"

"Star Wars" marked the end of such productions since even small children would demand better production values then just blue screen which is a shame because a type of hokeyness would never return that was like the 1930's and 1940's adventure serials.

Tony Hancock is an important figure in 20th century comedy as are the British feature length comedies from the late forties thru to the mid-sixties that descended into the "Carry On" films. Sid James is seen in better use with Tony Hancock then we would later be seen in the "Carry On" films. If you liked Sid James in the "Carry On" films you will love him with Tony Hancock. Sid James is also in the 1951 British feature film comedy "The Lavender Hill Mob", made in 1951 and starring Alec Guinness.
