Compared to the Novel this book is a 1/2 star. However, if it was a movie on its own and not a book adaptation, I would have given it a 3.5 star. The casting for Lucy and Josh was okay. But Danny was so wrong, I somehow did not picture him as Damon Daunno. Also, Josh Templeman does not smile, why is he smiling so much. The anticipation, build-up, and chemistry that was depicted in the book are none existing in the Movie, Lucy Hale and Austin Stowell are talented actors but they lack the chemistry I felt reading the book. Also big mistake Lucy did not kiss Josh in the elevator. It's the other way around. And Lucy did not have a smurf blog, her parents had a blog about their life as strawberry farmers and the occasional feature childhood memories of Lucy which Josh made fun of.
