The female lead sank this movie. The writers made this character rash and unintelligent and realistically she should have been dead many times over in the movie for her foolishness. She got the priest killed, by the way, putting a target on his back. The male lead was likable and rational unlike his female counterpart or else this is a zero rating movie.

Blumhouse doesn't disappoint in horror/ dark noir and this movie certainly fits that bill. After watching now I understand why this movie was either loved or hated, understood or misunderstood. I enjoyed the plot and the not so happy ending. I do believe there would be so much material for future movies now that the foundation is set. I can only hope.

Marcella is a deep and dark TV series. The main character is not always likable, her personality and issues do not improve which is OK as in real life not everyone redeems themselves or is redeemable. At first the end of season 2 had me scratching my head but in actuality when someone has a breakdown they may not dothe things you imagine. All in all seasons 1 and 2 had me at the edge of my seat

Though Emma is not my favourite Jane Austen book, I was glad that the movie more or less followed the book. I however found the portrayal of Emma to be too childish and George Knightly's character casted a tad too young, I always got the impression, in the book, he was somewhat older than Emma.

The way Scott yells at and speaks to his wife is off putting, even if it is done for ratings. He takes cheapness to the extreme yet wants to sell the finished product for the most expensive prices, I don't know which sucker falls for buying his houses and if they did it would be thanks to his lovely wife and her great decorating taste. I honestly hope Scott isn't like that when the camera stops rolling.
