I used to like watching Neighbours, an easy watch that didn't take a lot of brain power to follow after a stressful day at work and wind down with a cup of tea. This new version has introduced some new characters (and some laughable but not funny stories) but it seems that the people who write the story lines have been replaced by, judging by the content, a load of gay, lgtb or whatever the anacronym is and trans people. All we seem to see, in every episode is the whining David and the other equally irritating idiot husband, female gay couples and a mixed race female gay couple constantly snogging their faces off, not really what I want to see while having my tea. I'm not anti any of these groups of society, I'm not homophobic or racist, I just don't like having to watch these antics. Yes, lets promote loving couples of all these diverse people but please can we stop showing them at it all the time, it's just too much and makes me cringe seeing it. Oh yes, and who cast the new actor who plays Nell? whoever is responsible for that should be sacked lol!

Not funny. Widdecombe and Brooker are seriously not amusing but seem to find everything the other says hilariously funny but 99% of the time I fail to see what it is they are laughing about. I do have a sense of humour and enjoy good comedy but these two don't make me laugh. Am I the only one who has this view? I think they must pay the studio audience to laugh at their rubbish jokes and probably have to have a sign telling them when to laugh.

Just seen your reporter interviewing a single mother about the forcible installation of a pre-payment meter in her house in the light of the record profits announced by British Gas today, which was shocking to many people today, but one wonders how much her cosmetic work on her face cost her and perhaps would have been better spent paying her energy bills - just saying........ Like many of us I'm finding it very challenging to cover my bills and am mindful of what it is essential to pay for against less essential spending that I have either decided to cut down on or go without, perhaps GMB need to review who they decide to represent their viewers.

I don't understand the judges scoring system, it seems to be very inconsistent and random. Used to like watching but it's becoming irritating and probably won't be wasting time watching now. Further to my comment above, so I gave it a couple of more shows in the hope that the judges and the voting public would come to their senses, but of course they haven't, it's farcical and has become the worst programme currently on our tv's, even worse dare I say than The Holden Girls , which I gave up watching half way through the first episode. If I worked on either of these shows I would be embarrassed to tell anyone, it's obvious those involved in these don't read the reviews as they still put them out. This used to be a great show but I won't be watching again.

I watch the programme (Newswatch) every week and we see and hear the same thing every week, the same complaints and comments from BBC News viewers and the same explanations, justifications and excuses to those viewers about the content of many BBC News items, and it seems clear to me that the BBC News programme makers have no interest in what the viewing audience thinks about how the content of their programmes is delivered, because they know best. So they continue to do the same thing week on week, nothing changes so what is the point of Newswatch?
