I find the plot moving very slowly, and frankly some of the stories are a bit too farcical. A stellar cast who put in great performances are persuading me not to give up.

I bought this as a Christmas pressie for my hubby, who is not a keen reader, but an addict of talksport. He loves the quickfire comments, little anecdotes, and especially quips of the week. In other words, he’s a sound bite kinda guy! Short, sharp and witty floats his boat. Imagine my disappointment when I bought this- page upon page of dense print, not even a photograph to alleviate the dullness! Shame on Talk Sport for misleading people.
