SPOILERS ALERT! Just reading alot of the reviews, think most of them have been easily impressed and perhaps distracted with the amazing cinematography, great casting, good script and a suspense driven murder mystery. My main issue was the facts that batman doesn't use any sort of gadgets and gizmos, 4 times all together in a two and half hour run time and Alfred isn't in his ear during missions feeding batman important information and why did the set in the Wayne mansion look like something out of Harry Potter. Back to the important issue, Batman doesn't use smoke grenades or batarangs or use any sort of planning and stealth, everything he does in the film is off the fly. He literally knocks on the door of Penguins club, THREE TIMES. (btw love the actor playing the penguin character, great casting). IN MY OPINION this is a huge character flaw in this version of Batman. 3/5 star because I think the main character was a joke, felt like an origin story for riddler and catwoman and penguin, however, most other aspects were executed well, especially the cinematography and soundtrack. Oh yh, if batman isn't using the Cape to glide or dodge bullets he's wearing it for no reason.
