Horrible white washing and pandering to people only looking at special effects, over story and content. They have decided to make the characters all flat and not relatable

I love the zombie genre. Loved the gorilla style filming, giving it almost that first hand chaos you would feel in this. The fast unrelenting zombies were awesome. That said the story that should be there to draw you in is lacking and though yes if in that situation you will act irrational, though the choices like going to the school seem forced. Though they make it to thier destination. Pick up season two and still no story development though again I love the chaos, again though no structure to make you really care about any of them. Now what I am still trying to figure out. This is taking place in Z Nation story. These zombies don't act look or feel the same and there are no ties to its source. If it had been related to world War z then I would have believed this more.

Decent crime drama more than horror.
