Devane Boyd

This film sees Zack Synder’s artistic vision brought to life and is the best version of his interpretation of these characters. The film maintains his signature look and tone but with a more humour, character beats and an optimistic story. It could be edited down to a shorter runtime and the epilogue is mostly devoted to fan service and storylines that might not go anywhere which could alienate a casual viewer, but the main movie itself is great providing possibly the best cinematography for a Superhero film ever thanks to Fabian Wagner. Synder has also split the movie into chapters so that it can watched in one go or watched at your own pace like a mini series. Regardless of which is better it’s refreshing to see a superhero team up movie not imitating the style and tone of The Avengers films
