Upon seeing this movie as being highly rated I decided it was worth seeing. Somehow,I felt like I watched a different movie than what was given these very reviews. Black and white,artsy and Dafoe and Pattison stuck in a lighthouse seemed like I wonder how this could play out. So basically either Pattison's character is going crazy or Dafoe is trying to convince him that he is. In all,does it really matter ? The movie ended and I couldn't have been more happy that it did. Actually,the ending had a chance to redeem the entire movie and tie it all up and....it didn't. I give it 1 star because zero stars aren't allowed. If you really are thinking of watching this my advice is mow your lawn,or do some laundy,clean some dishes or any other chore that would be more productive in your life than the 2 hours you'll waste on this.
