Just saw Superman. Wow, it was bad. James Gunn stole and brought over stuff from the Marvel Universe, including Tony Stark's nano- technology, Ultron themed soldiers, a little X-men crossover, brought in Frank Grillo from Hydra, and then the credits right after movie looked just like Guardians of the Galaxy end credits. Let's not forget the awful "justice gang" and it's gang of bad character development, including an awful rendition of the green lantern. Don't get me started on that dog. Unless you have a theater with luxury recliners, wait till it streams.

The action is always amazing in these films - this one as well. But I left kind of disappointed. Felt like recycled impact moments, particularly the ending. Dead reckoning was WAY better...I remember leaving the theater that night so pumped for part 2. The IT factor wasn't there for me in this finale. I won't include any spoilers; you need to see it for yourself and decide.

Great movie that not only brings the multiverse together but also multiple generations of Spiderman fans, since the first Tobey Maguire film dates to 2002. The ending left more questions than answers, but it felt like it had to do more with the Sony-Marvel business relationship than part of the story arc. Overall, though, it was exciting and being in a packed theater just made it that much more entertaining.
