Hollywood strikes again...for the worst.
First, it can't produce anything original anymore so it has to try yet another reboot of the classic "Twilight Zone" series. Secondly, rather than finding someone who can summon up a Serling-like narrator, they get Jordan Peele--the comedian from "Mad TV" and "Jordan & Peele."
Why? Because in Hollywood he's hot now since he directed a single horror movie that got good reviews. Well, hate to break to anyone who hasn't seen the original series or truly appreciated the power of Rod Serling's scripts for TZ (he wrote the majority of them), but Peele isn't fit to tie Serling's shoes!
Now, let's see how many scripts Peele writes for "his" show, since he's a producer for the new series.
My guess will be none--but I won't know: because I refuse to watch it for the above reasons.
