I have been a long time NHL series fan. I started in NHL 13 and now sadly am playing the newest installment of copy paste, NHL21. This game has so many flaws. From AI who are just clueless the entire time, to the way the overly hyped “be a pro” game mode turned out to just be dialogue options and nothing else; this game is complete and utter garbage. You should be ashamed if you’re thinking about buying this. Nothing substantial sets it apart from the previous installment and sadly there are no updates to come out to fix it. At least until NHL22 comes out. Please, don’t give in. As hockey player I got hooked on it cause it’s a game of a sport I love. Sadly it’s made by a company whom I hate. They won’t fix anything. I’m tired of being lied to. I’m tired of this series as a whole.

I have been a long time EA Sports NHL player. I played since all the way pack from 2013. Let me tell you, don’t bother with this game. EA NEEDS to make strides to make this franchise of games better. I’m not even lying it is the exact same copy of NHL19 just with added shooting animations. I’ve played every game mode and noticed nothing new. EA Sports should be ashamed for releasing this. There’s so many glitch goals, weird ref calls, disconnections from servers, and a lack of updates to fix the problems. Do yourself a favor, and not buy this. However if you’re a long time fan of hockey and want to play with your buds or something, pirate it. Honestly EA deserves no money for this game.
