I'm not going to speculate on why the "keepers" of the Bond legacy felt the need to destroy the formula that made 007 unique for over 50 years. The formula was simple - there was a British super spy who saved the world from villains who were intent on domination and destruction. Along the way we witnessed car chases, explosions, gadgets, high society, exotic places, beautiful people, and creative intrigue. The name of the movie should have been No Need To Die.
