A Very, very feel good movie. Pls DO NOT GO WITH ALL THE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK in the news. This is a lovely movie. A must watch!
It has some very beautiful moments, emotionally it tugs at the strings of your heart.
In this day and age of Netflix realistic movies, it's nice to see a good, clean, innocent film, which has the ability to touch you with its stellar performances by its lead actors.
I've always felt it's easier to make a realistic film, as it shows what happens in day to day life. The pain, the crime, the injustices, the gore etc. But to show all of these with a bit of humour and simplicity and taking care of the entertainment aspect of what any cinema should have, without hurting any sentiments is far more difficult. And this is what Lal Singh Chadha has successfully achieved.
So three cheers to Mr. Amir Khan and all involved in bringing forth this masterpiece.
I'm going to rewatch Forest Gump no doubt, but once again I'd like to say pls do not compare the 2 movies. For both are wonderful films in their own right.
