Very emotional, realistic, with great acting. Gives one a very good idea of the torture and pain inflicted upon Jesus Christ. My only complaint is that the actors all had terrible accents when speaking Aramaic. I can tell because I speak Assyrian, a dialect of Syriac Aramaic. Gibson should have hired native Aramaic speakers, they are still around, and the majority are in the West. He would have made a truly historic movie had he done so. But his arrogance wouldn't let him is my guess.
