Loved the show, but I have a thing for utopian/dystopian books, tv shows and movies, so it does have similarities to Other titles in this genre (Hunger games, Divergent, etc). I loved the incorporation of so much hip-hop, culture from the past (and our current times). The show did a good job of placing the story in the future but also still touching on current events without being overly preachy about it. My only issues where with them destroying the archive. Hopefully there are more. Also, there is yet to be any word of a season 2. Hopefully this pandemic slows and they will be green lit for another season. This is a very good show, despite strong similarities to other utopian/dystopian titles this is a solid show with room for improvements as well but a great watch all the same. Also tell a friend to watch, these shows on streaming services get longer lifelines the more people watch them lol
