Lavender – Google

This, thing, is by far the worst thing to ever happen to film in the history of film making. Despite being painfully boring and having a dreadful plot that did nothing but confuse everybody, it might have actually not been half bad if only it had a different ending. You all know what I'm talking about. Poor poor Data. He didn't deserve such a terrible fate and you all know it. My life will never be the same.

I meeeaaan, hey, at least it's not Nemesis. That's really the best thing you can say about this movie. But then again that's not entirely true. I actually thought it was a nice lighthearted change from the dark depths that was First Contact. It had a lot of humor, a lot of smiling characters, maybe more so than the TV series, which is always nice to see. The plot was a bit meh, but all in all decent enough to be Star Trek worthy. And of course, Data sings. Oh sweet Brent Spiner.

OMGOMGOMGOMG this movie is by far the coolest but scariest thing I have ever seen!! I watched it on Halloween night which was a big mistake and boy was I surprised. It's so unlike Star Trek which made me skeptical at first, but my love of horror brought me back for more. The stuff with Data was the scariest freaking stuff, and dang, that flesh was gross!! But Data at the end with the half human face. Man. He's never looked so sexy.

I actually really liked this movie despite it's flaws. The stuff with Data and his newfound emotions really pulled on my heartstrings, and even though poor old Captain Kirk didn't exactly get the big hurrah of a death he deserved, I felt it was played fairly well by the actors enough to pull it through. It's definitely better than most of the Next Gen movies and has an emotional feel to it that the others sorely lacked.
