This was just awful. The original Matrix changed my life and how I saw the world I live in when I was still a very young man. To see it reduced to a pathetic love story with zero focus on anything actually about the matrix, was hard to watch. Shed very little light on Morpheus' life after the 3rd movie. Very little info about what actually happened to Zion, or how they built the new city IO. Little detail about these new relationships with sentient programs and their ability to manifest themselves physically. Worst of all, they don't even hint at why trinity suddenly has the powers that Neo used to have. An overall abortion of what used to be one of the greatest franchises of all time.
