SS Rajamouli clearly outliving the expectations! He has gotten hold of the nerves of the audience, yet again! Just go and watch it! A Family Movie. Direction, Production, Cinematography, Action, Script and Casting... each element is intense and well knit! My only complaint is not enough stardom and grandeur has been focussed on NTR (who is love, btw, and I am biased for him). Director failed at star balancing. You'll get Bahubali vibes on few occasions (which no one minds I'm sure). Also, I went in for NTR, came back fallen for Charan! Man HE IS HAWWWWTTTT! 🔥🔥🔥

Entertaining, comical yet brave and sensitive attempt at the issue, truly reflecting the plight of the closeted identity. The movie appeals the audience to have empathy and makes one feel the importance of being liberated, being your true self out in the public. This should have earned hugely at the box office! Not even a single scene is a waste and the dialogues are subtly sensitive and apt at the peak moments! Again, the movie deserves lot more!!

You think you know where the story is heading, but the script is a step ahead of you! Complete package of suspense, thrill, good script, and brilliant cinematography! Telugu, Tamil, Malayali and Marathi cinema never disappoint! Sheer novelty, originality and brilliance!

If you are looking for an engrossing emotional romantic drama with a fresh perspective, this movie is good to go with. The production and choreography stand out in the film and Nani-Sai Pallavi duo cast a spell on you. I must admit, Nani has delivered a crush-worthy performance! However, the movie could have adopted a bit realistic approach to earn complete 5 star. The basis of the movie itself is not something one would want to watch in 2022. Despite this, its an engaging drama!

Watching every other romantic drama (even if it is by Ekta Kapoor) is one of my guilty pleasures. I just started watching it because of Vikrant Massey but ended up loving the realistic show (talking about Season 1 only here). It's consistent, smooth, sensible, realistic and relatable. Makers have not lost the track of what they were willing to show till the very end. Entire Cast was on point and the execution is beautiful. I cannot emphasize enough of how intense and brilliant was Vikrant Massey! In love with him all over again!

For a show on an incident like 26/11, it is a massive failure for missing out on so many fronts. The show tries to parallely narrate of what went down with the police, the city, the hospitals, the media that night and attempts to provide an insight of what actually happens within each of these groups when something major happens. However, the show ends being unreal and even distorted, for misrepresentation of facts and events. I mean how do you change the 26/11 itself? Despite, having strong production design(unbelievably real), sets, action, graphics etc., the script is intellectually weak. In an attempt to show multiple fronts at the same time, they haven't been able to showcase even one side of the story properly. Over the course of 8 episodes, the sad realities of media, situation of hospitals and police force have been projected here and there but overall its scattered, its over bearing, its melodramatic at places where you wouldn't even expect it, it's a failed attempt. Konkana Sen Sharma got me watching this, but I am gathering the strength to complete the remaining last episode. The cast is good and everyone does the fine job. Mohit Raina seems to be in his best form but the series fails to keep you glued to it because of tremendously weak story.

Over all the movie is worth the watch just to realize the fact that how simple, childish, yet courageous and devoted was Mr. Vikram Batra. The movie puts you in a spot to imagine the unparalleled valour of a 25 year old youth, filled with nothing but courage and devotion towards the country, and was instrumental in winning the war ultimately. Imagining the spirit of a 25 year old youngster who was just 'obsessed and crazy' about his 'dream job' to fight for his nation leaves me speechless. He embodied the word "Deewane" in letter and spirit. (Opinion based on actual facts and watched interviews) Talking about just the movie: DIRECTION: The first half of the story is scattered pieces waiting to be weaved in a thread and also lack the soul, honestly. Various combat scenes lack the depth and have been shot in some kind of hurry. The movie almost seems superficial and cliché at many instances. However, non-dramatic portrayal of war scenes, avoiding unnecessary heroic spirit and not bombarding 'nationalism' on the face, makes this movie worth a watch. Ultimately, it has been successful in creating some kind of impact. MUSIC: Almost all songs are well timed and are good to listen as individual tracks too. ACTING: Kiara Advani does a great job in whatever screen time she got. Siddharth Malhotra has been able to perform better than expected. He perfectly embodied Mr. Batra's simplicity and childishness at some points. However, actor's general inability to act and express at required places remains a problem. Other Points: Attempt at Punjabi and Pahari accent are downright cringe-worthy. The recognition, contribution and depiction of other was heroes in the movie deserves a special applause. The strategy to stick to actual facts and avoid unnecessary heroism is praise worthy too.
