Spider-Man No Way Home is the amalgamation of decades worth of movies, characters, actors, and even directors. I enjoyed the film from the beginning and end, I wish the film lasted longer but unfortunately it didn't. The action in the film was probably the best in any other Spider-Man film to date. The only thing I was was longer was the Doc Ock bridge fight and probably the Statue of Liberty scene.
The characters in the film were amazing. Alfred Molina as Doc Ock can never be recast. Seeing his character on the big screen was a pervilage especially on opening night. The CGI arms were better for action giving us longer and more dangerous arms then ever. I enjoyed the interaction with Doc ock and Tom's Peter a lot.
Green Goblin aka William Defoe will go down as the best performance as a villain in the MCU and he also stole the scene every time his characterwas on scene. The thing I wish they have a little longer in the film was his Goblin mask but his new suit was amazing still. The apartment was beautiful and action packed scene with Tom's Peter and Defoe's Green Goblin. I loved how they used Spider-Man spider sense finding out that Norman wasn't himself anymore.
Jamie Fox's new Electro was probably the biggest grow up in 2021. With having a more comic accurate costume even with his famous starfish mask at points. Sandman and The Lizard were respectfully played by there originally actors Ray syfan and Thomas Haden Church only voice the characters and didn't film any scene like the others was disappointing I or we don't know the reason why they didn't film any scenes maybe covid or other reasons. They did reuse old footage from SM 3 and TASM. The CGI for them was nice and I did love the Lizards new design.
Now to big topic Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprisal of Spider-Man aka Peter Parker even though they leaked on several times and even in 4k. I was grateful to see them back. Tobey's Spider-Man was a beautiful return for character so was Andrew's especially for him to have his redemption for his character and movies. The interaction of all three Spider-Men was enjoyable and felt natural to me. The ending of the film was a beautiful send off for Tom's Peter finally have to struggle like his previous spider brothers. Even though we probably won't see another film quite like this anytime soon I still am grateful to see this on the big screen and on opening night with other fans and mega fans. And also Charlie Coxs daredevil was also back a nice cameo from him.
