“MY”.............. Pure honesty! Lots of mixed emotions with this extremely long music video because it didn’t feel like a film. I’m confuse with the actual foundation/concept. I don’t feel like I saw a story line. YES! I do understand the acceptance of being black, our inner power, we are here for a reason and to embrace all shades. I got those things through the dialect given but if the video was on mute I couldn’t tell you my left foot from my right foot. I also felt some uneasy emotions with the symbols being displayed. I want to say demonic but that word might be too strong. HOWEVER!!! I will definitely say there were SEVERAL SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES through out the video if you pause and pay attention. The 10 minutes I actually loved was the brown skin girl segment. I saw black women in all shades embracing skin tones America say is not beautiful! That part was powerful. I was getting some lion king vibes so I thought a story would form but I just kept seeing the majority of the hour and twenty five minutes just being Beyoncé dancing. OVER ALL IM GLAD SHE DID IT! Numerous times the media has misconstrued the image of African Americans and it’s amazing to be uplifted
