This was soooo good! Not only was the plot solid, but the acting was great, the angles and shots were really good, and music choices were so good and well fitting. This movie keeps you drawn in the entire time and keeps you wondering. They made it obvious that sexual assault was happening to the women without being extrememly graphic. They hinted at it and had a very short scene were it showed sexual assault happening but they were not super graphic when showing it nor was there any nudity. I like that they did not make it super graphic because even just the short scene they showed was very disturbing and viewers were able to grasp that horrible and probably much worse things were happening to them. It was disturbing how realistic this was. It reminded me a lot of the South Korean Burning Sun case where at a club owned by a k-pop singer the rich men would pick out women, the employees would then drug the women, and then the men would rape the women. The women would then wake up not knowing what happened. It was an entire business. It also reminded me of the toy box killer who would rape women for long periods of time and then release them or kill them. He would use hypnoses to make the women forget, so they would wake up somewhere missing who knows how long of their memory. could be days or months. Some women were sold into Mexico for sex slavery and others killed. They have no idea how many victims he actually has because of the hypnoses. This movie is like a mixture of those cases and Epstein Island. This movie isn't just fiction it's a literal warning and reminder that these things actually happen and it's freaking INSANE! Also for anyone curious on those cases Stephanie Soo or Rotten Mango Podcasts has episodes on them on youtube and spotify.
