Were they being serious about the China joke at the end or what? I wouldn't have joked that Nazi Germany was the future in 1940. The same that I wouldn't joke that a country that has slavery, organ harvesting, and genocide today is the future. Oh and the $800m in IP theft China does from the US along with their proclaimed 'unrestricted' war they have been engaging in against the west for 30 yrs. So if it was being ironic it might be construed as being serious. I wouldn't joke about being a CCP fan anymore than being a fan of the Nazis.
