I LOVE this show. For 3 reasons the songs, characters and plot. First the songs feel different than the usual TV show/movie songs we get. The songs explain how the characters are feeling and I feel like they really expand on the plot (There are so many bops, yet so many of them go so hard at the same time). The characters are amazing. Everything about this show feels fresher (I don’t if that is the right word to use) then what we usually get. At has kinda a Disney vibe, without being full blown Disney corny. Each character has there own traits that make them different and there are so many emotional, cute and funny moments. The cast is so talented! The plot really does it for me. Everything pretty much make sense with minimal plot holes if any. If something doesn’t make sense it is usually because there is information that hasn’t been explained to us yet. To just give some of my opinions on the negative comments I have seen here we go. I don’t really have a problem with the age difference between the actor that plays Luke and the actress that plays Julie and wether or not they kiss. I think I heard they don’t, but even if they didn’t they are professional actors and that is their job. Even if they feel uncomfortable about it I’m sure the show could be rewritten to help them out. People say this show has no diversity, but umm.... have you watched the show? (Before I go into this I am sorry if I get someone wrong I mean no harm) Julie is Hispanic, her best friend Flynn is a POC and her father is white, so they are showing a mixed couple. Then one of the only 2 ships on the show is a gay couple and they are openly gay so.... Once again I LOVE this show and I 100% recommend that anyone of any age and any background watch.
