Paul Barnes

It's hard to believe this is the same GRR Martin who wrote Song of Ice and Fire. Theres a good story in here somewhere, but its buried in an endless list of names. For most part, it reads like a telephone directory. You struggle to remember characters, many of whom appear once only. Not his best effort, which is a pity because it has the potential to be a really good story.
