Fascinating, engaging drama. Kate W is fantastic as the hard as nails, tough as teak small town detective who really has a lot going on. Jean Smart plays her mum and she is so good. The chemistry between Kate W and Jean S adds an effective layer of humour to an otherwise unrelenting gritty, serious plot. Angourie Rice is fab as is Guy Pearce, 2 great Aussie actors. Best show I’ve seen this year Kate W is definitely one of the Queens!
