As Livio Paladin (A renown Italian Jurist, former President of the Italian Constitutional Court) said: "I get bored of reading Law books... I prefer to read about sociology, economy, history, about all the forces driving lawmaking"***. Despite being written by two Law Professors, this is not a book on legal issues. It's a must read for anybody willing to understand the current events, within the wider framework of the crisis of democracy and, more in general, of the western civilization(s), further exposed and amplified by the coronavirus crisis.
