Honestly surprised at how fun this game is, it starts off seeming like you only do the same level over but then BAM you get blindsided by a new area, mission type, dinosaur or story hook, level 54 in three days of play, this game is oldschool Capcom lost planet style fun, just a really entertaining game to play with some friends or in a randoms match.

Taking the time to get a feel for this game I allowed myself to die a few times (fairly easy when you’re rocket propelled into a stun lock repeatedly by completely invisible enemies or car tossing Death Stars) and restart with a couple of boons, to say that the game intrigues me would be a gross understatement, as would saying that it’s less than enjoyable mechanics outright ruin further interest I could have in this. I’m a Veteran survival game and Souls player and to me this game is at points virtually unplayable due to janky combat and ludicrous mechanics that rarely work as intended and even when working as intended are poorly optimized for progression. Unless you're up for a complete slog, play something else, anything in fact.
