It's not the original Mortal Kombat, or even the original timeline. Perhaps this is liu kang a new era? Keep in mind, raiden was never shown as asian decent in the entire mortal kombat story line.. but anywho the film was a bit hard to follow due to its non-standard way of showing the action scenes, but once you get past the first half of the movie it starts to play out like mortal kombat foreal. And for once, us older mk fans, the original mk fans, get the bloody, gross mortal kombat violence in a movie we deserve! Before I end this..I will shakey head at outworlds cast of characters. Bunch of characters that never got any time in the spot light in the mk universe. It's cool I guess but I was hoping to see some more well know villains.
