I went into this album without extremely high expectations, but still expected a lot from it. At first I didn’t like, but when I got to the second half I was just vibing to it. The second half was great. The album could have used more features that were more quality because Kanye was not very good, Cudi was fine (his humming was great), and Future was Future. Uzi or Travis would have been great. Overall I don’t recommend it if you are not a Carti fan and don’t like more experimental stuff in the rap game, but if you want to hear something different it is worth a shot. I listened to it a few more times and it is growing on me. My favorite songs from the album I love while the worst songs I probably won’t listen to again. My favorite song is Place and least favorite is Jump Out the House. I’m looking forward to the deluxe and future projects. I feel like Carti is going in a new direction and I don’t mind it. I even kind of missed the baby voice.
