EDITED REVIEW: We need like 10 more seasons. This is legit my first time ever giving a rating for anything. So it means a lot and I mean it when I give the 5 stars. It’s just amazing to find out that my fav show when I was 10 now has an adult version for me. And it’s perfect because I don’t remember the plot just that I loved it. N that bloom was my fav. So yes I need season 2 and 3 ..4 .5 and for it to continue. Editing well rather adding on to my review... I’m seeing a lot of harsh critics and to be honest if you’re looking for the winx club play per play then you’re in for a huge disappointment. It’s an adaptation not a remake. Besides that would be boring. Watch the winx club if u want the winx club. And if u want a whole new twist watch Fate the winx saga. Also I did notice that yes the main characters weren’t as nice and carefree and happy as I remember. But again it’s 2021 .. forget high school ...middle school isn’t what it used to be. Kids nowadays are different. So this was a more real maybe a little exaggerated take on real life. Everyone wants to be cool, and understood but feels misunderstood and is is frustrated and then eventually get to know each other and love and support each other. Real life doesn’t have such happy endings. But 6 episodes isn’t enough to build that character development. But you can still see it. I love what they did with Stella she will probably be very sweet going forward letting her guard down and trying not to be like her evil mom. Terra will be stronger as she’s shown and will not be a scapegoat or dismissed like in the beginning. Blooms anger issues are gone and she will have her sense of self and her friends as her support system. Aisha will always be the mother of the group but still support her friends and I can’t wait to see her get over her insecurities and jealousy. We still don’t know much about her just that she swims to get her mind off things and to be in control.. Musa will also find herself she has her friends and is yet to tap into her power.. we saw a glimpse when she helped Sam. They are kids not adult full grown fairies. And they’re in first year they have a lot to learn. I believe this season should have been at least 8 episodes just to put in more info like what they learn in class and the realms and how they work.. how do they have Instagram.?? But I’m hoping we get all that info next season. There was enough twists and turns to keep u on ur feet and the last two episodes .. mainly the last one answered all questions of not all.. had so much plot twists and revelations. It was satisfying but also like a “ ohh shiitt they are f***ed” which makes u ask so much more questions that u now need answers to. So bottom line u harsh critics need to stop cause if this show gets cancelled I will forever be sad about it.
