The. Worst. Show. Ever. One long awful boring slog. You keep waiting for it to maybe get better but it doesn't. At the end you are SO ANGRY with yourself for wasting ALL THAT TIME on this awful, awful show. A clue should be how many times 'slow, somber music' appears in the subtitles. Did I mention that at the end the 12-year-old starts drinking....what a messed up group of people.

One of my favorite films. It was as good as the book, which is an unusual occurrence. Ben Kingsley is wonderful. Gave me a whole new way of looking at the world.
