I got it on sale for $11 during a psn sale, and I don’t think I would pay anymore for the game. No story, there’s maybe 20 different types of mission that get a time of day change to make for 70 very repetitive missions, that get a bit harder each ranking making for a very boring solo play through. On top of that there’s three Spots you’ll be running back and forth to constantly, the store, an inn where you can change costumes and ability’s and the training where you select masters to learn your specials, which wouldn’t be to bad if you didn’t need to constantly visit the store to accept rewards from missions and training to accept attacks, than run back to equip everything, Rather than beating a mission and having them ready to equip. As for leveling up I haven’t noticed a whole lot of a difference in stats but that’s forgiven seeing as leveling up goes quick, but learning new stronger attacks is locked behind paywalls, they give you the option to train with stronger masters but it seems like your unable to attain any attacks, costumes or rewards without paying for that specific master, speaking of a pay to win system, they also use a gambling system where you can pay scrolls that offer random rewards. The battle system is somewhat fun but almost feels slow, no charge in attack to close in distance quick, the running is slow there’s a charged jump ability that is completely useless as it can not be charged while running, by the time it’s fully charged everyone on your team is already at the checkpoint, and there’s a good chance the jump won’t get you all the way there, the only attacks that feel like they won’t miss are special attack, base attack combos trail off the target by staying in one straight line, And it’s very repetitive, I am a fan however of the class selection, gives it the feeling of being on team although so far the majority picks ether damage or Long range, very rare that I got on a match where nobody on your team plays the same class and also plays their class properly which is most online games that use the class system. My opinion on the game is that it’s a sad attempt at a naruto style xenoverse that aT best feels like a demo compared to the amount of content in even the first DBX that is not worth $60, I honestly think this game is good if it were free to play, seeing as you’ll end up having to buy multiple dlcs and scrolls to even get anywhere
