One missed call is a good balance of horror and suspense in places.
However, the majority of the movie is build up and there are a lot of important details left out in order to create mystery. The only issue is the bad acting as well as the movie being a bit dry. You don’t start piecing things together until the very end.
On top of that it treats it like a serial killer movie but it turns out to be a supernatural occurrence.
Overall the movie is good but not the best one I’ve seen. It seems to be trying to hard to mimic the classics.
