The much-awaited film Pushpa starring AA was released yesterday and like everyone else, I too rushed to the theatres to watch this film. Simply saying according to me, Pushpa met the expectations and buzz created before the film was released. The film showcased a different genre that, I recall, was never tried in TFI. The film revolves around the story of how a person working as a daily labourer went on to become the head of the smuggling syndicate.
Firstly coming to the positive points, AA is certainly fitted for this role and there is no doubt about it. Additionally, the story is extremely impressive and made me sit at the edge of my seat. While watching the film you always feel anticipated about the upcoming story and the director got success in running the story in that way. Although, Many actors, who I thought would play a key role in this film had a short screen presence. That can be a disappointment to most people like me. Nevertheless, they too did justice to their roles. Furthermore, the dialogues between the hero and other actors were fantastic. Some of the negatives are scenes between the hero and the heroine which I felt was completely deviating from the main plot of the story. I think it is high time, directors let go of some inconsequential scenes in films and stories like these. Maybe because of this in my opinion they are some negative reviews going around. However apart from that, overall the film should stand as above-average and should not be dragged down just because of that
Overall the film is a must-watch and everyone will experience an Indian godfather film. Everyone can enjoy the film theatres without any second thoughts
