Stunning. Although the plot seems straightforward enough at first glance, there's more than ample twists and turns to keep you interested. Everyone who has seen it seems to catch a different innuendo. Might be better if you watch it a second time...at least, pay close attention. Superb acting and, although not Hollywood-budget overdone, there's just enough sets and props to make 1945 Leningrad totally believable. Well done. Don't miss it. Rick

Basically a high-tech cartoon. They spent a bazillion dollars on CGI, and pocket change on sets and cast. And not dime on on a dog! Totally unrealistic. Unless your kids are 7 or under, stay home and watch Howdy Doody.
