Bored on a Sunday afternoon and left to my own devices, (literally; I watched on my iPad), I thought I'd give one episode a chance, 3 hours later, I am so glad that I did. Thoroughly realized characters living through a fascinating cross section of complex and vivid stories that I became deeply invested in. Beautifully crafted writing well balanced by equal measures of pathos and humour. So many conversations feature laugh out loud dialogue and heart-felt confessionals and caught me with such genuine surprise and pleasure that I was left feeling awed and greatly impressed by the writing on this show. Bonus points for the art direction and soundtrack. Don't sleep on this show.
