A promising beginning & some what depth to the plot. Unfortunately you come to terms quickly with a very suggested & rushed ending.

Kung Lao , Kabal and the fatalities were great. Other than that HORRIBLE casting for Raiden what a disgrace to the actual character. Kano was annoying 1/4 of the movie was spent making fun of him and people beating him up. Could’ve gone way deeper with more interesting characters. Out of all characters we care about Cole Young? This movie would have been a lot better if set up in actual tournament style. The 90’s MK’s still blow this one out of the water. LOL I guess we’re leaving Johnny cage out of this movie because EVERYONE cares about him being in the next?? he should be in this with the OG crew what a stupid idea for a teaser. Another reboot failed. welcome to the 21st century.
